Angle steel, commonly known as angle iron, is a long strip of steel with two sides perpendicular to each other. It belongs to carbon structural steel for construction, and is a section steel with a simple section, which is divided into equilateral angle steel and unequal angle steel. The angle steel can be composed of various stress-bearing components according to the different needs of the structure, and can also be used as a connection between the components. The raw material billet for producing angle steel is low carbon square billet, and the finished angle steel is delivered in hot-rolled, normalized or hot-rolled state.
Mild Steel Angle Hot Rolled is an angle shaped, hot rolled mild steel.
Hot rolled steel is formed through a metal rolling process where the steel is pressed at temperatures above the its recrystallization threshold. This makes the steel easier to form, and results in products that are easier to work with.
Classification of angle steel
It is mainly divided into two types: equal-sided angle steel and unequal-sided angle steel. Among them, the unequal-sided angle steel can be divided into two types: unequal-sided and equal-thickness and unequal-sided and unequal-thickness.
