Copper is a relatively pure type of copper, which can generally be considered as pure copper. It has better conductivity and plasticity, but poorer strength and hardness. Copper is much more widely used than pure iron. Every year, 50% of copper is electrolytically purified into pure copper for use in the electrical industry. Oxygen in copper (a small amount of oxygen is easily mixed in copper smelting) has a great influence on conductivity, and the copper used in the electrical industry must generally be oxygen-free copper. Copper is also used in motor short-circuit rings, electromagnetic heating inductors, high-power electronic components, terminal blocks and the like. It is also applied to doors, windows, handrails and other furniture and decorations.
