Product Description
Medium carbon steel plate
Medium carbon steel sheet is a carbon steel sheet with a carbon content of 0.25% to 0.60%. It includes most high-quality carbon structural steel plates and a part of ordinary carbon structural steel plates. Most of this type of steel is used to make various mechanical parts, and some are used to make engineering structural parts.
High carbon steel plate:
After proper heat treatment or cold drawing hardening, high carbon steel plate has high strength and hardness, high elastic limit and fatigue limit, and the cutting performance is acceptable, but the welding performance and cold plastic deformation ability are poor. Due to the high carbon content, cracks are prone to occur during water quenching, so double-liquid quenching is mostly used, and oil quenching is mostly used for small-section parts. This type of steel is generally tempered or normalized at medium temperature after quenching or used in a surface quenched state. Mainly used in the manufacture of springs and wear-resistant parts. Carbon tool steel is a high carbon steel that basically does not add alloying elements, and it is also a steel with low cost, good cold and hot workability, and a wide range of use among tool steels. Its carbon content is 0.65 to 1.35%, and it is a steel specially used for making tools. The density of high carbon steel is 7.81g/cm³.

Classification of low carbon steel plates
According to the thickness, it is divided into: thick plate (above 6mm), medium and thick plate (3-6mm) and thin plate (below 3mm).
According to the process, it is divided into: cold-rolled steel plate, hot-rolled steel plate. Cold-rolled steel plates are generally used for parts that require a large degree of material deformation when forming parts, and there should be no wrinkles, cracks, etc. on the surface. For different parts, different grades of steel plates are used, such as: SPCC is a common cold-rolled steel plate, usually rolled by boiling steel; SPCD is a steel plate for rolling; SPCE or SPCEN is a cold-rolled steel plate for deep drawing.
Hot Rolled Steel Sheet are steel sheet that has been cut from Hot Rolled Steel Coil to the specific dimensions. It is similar to other hot rolled steel products in the sense that they are used in constructions, engineering, the automotive industry to produce consumer goods. Generally, it has a smooth surface and comes in standard or customized dimension as well as wide range of thickness to support various construction works.
It is widely used in manufacturing casings, element/parts of tools machinery, guard rails and automotive body parts. As for other customize uses would involved process such as Drawing and Stamping.
